What’s covered below
1. Overview
This page explains what personal data this site collects, why, how long it’s kept, and who has access to it. It covers shaukinsv.com as a whole, including the two forms that collect personal information: the general Contact form and the Book Consultation form.
It does not cover any separate systems used to deliver a project once an engagement begins — those are covered by that engagement’s own agreement, not this page.
2. Information I Collect
Two forms on this site collect personal information directly from you:
- Contact form (/contact) — name, email address, your message, and, if you fill them in, the service, industry, business size, and market fields used to route and prioritize your inquiry.
- Book Consultation form (/book-consultation) — name, email address, your requested date and time (converted to a fixed point in time before it’s submitted) and your timezone, plus the same optional service and industry fields and any notes you add.
Neither form requires you to create an account, and neither collects payment information — there’s no checkout or billing flow anywhere on this site. If you don’t submit either form, no personal information is collected (see “Cookies & Tracking” below).
3. How This Information Is Used
Everything submitted through either form is used for exactly one purpose: responding to you — either replying to a general inquiry or confirming, adjusting, or declining a requested consultation time, by email. The optional service, industry, and market fields help route and prioritize that response; they’re never used to profile you beyond this.
Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with any third party for their own marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
Information submitted through either form is retained for 24 months from the date of your last contact. After that period, it’s deleted or anonymized — your name, email, and message or notes are permanently removed, while non-identifying details (like which service or industry was selected, in aggregate across all submissions) may be kept to understand overall demand. Anonymized data is never re-linked back to who submitted it.
5. Where This Data Is Stored
Form submissions are written directly to a Postgres database hosted by Neon, accessible only to me. As of the effective date above, no other service automatically receives a copy of what you submit.
If a submission fails to save for any reason, that failure is logged internally so it can be followed up manually — it is not automatically emailed or forwarded anywhere. This site does not currently use any CRM, marketing platform, or third-party form processor beyond the database described here.
6. Cookies & Tracking
This site does not currently use analytics, session-recording, or advertising cookies of any kind — no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no session-replay tool is active today. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated to name the tool and explain what it collects before it goes live, not after.
7. Your Rights Under UAE Law
This site operates from the UAE, and personal data submitted through it is handled consistent with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (the UAE’s Personal Data Protection Law). You can ask, at any time, to see what personal data is held about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, or to have your data deleted outright — subject to the retention period described above.

8. Data Security
Everything submitted through either form travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and is stored in a managed database with access limited to me alone. No system is perfectly secure, but there is no point in the current setup where your submission is stored or transmitted in the clear.
9. Changes To This Policy
If what’s collected or how it’s used ever changes — for example, if a new integration or analytics tool is activated — this page will be updated first, and the effective date above will change to reflect it. Material changes will never be applied silently.
